About Brewstarz Films

Independent film.
A love of storytelling.

Brewstarz Films is an independent film company founded by filmmaker Nnamdi Alexander Mezue. A home for artists and original voices, we create story-driven entertainment with a belief that powerful stories connect people across cultures.

Our work is led by storytellers and the stories they want to tell. We bring artistry and care to every project, from a social post to a feature film, creating space for fresh perspectives and creative collaboration.

From To My Father With Love, a film by Uzoamaka Onuoha, to the world of False 9: The Plague Doctor, our slate reflects a passion for compelling narratives and the possibilities of cinema.
